ABOUT US

We originally wanted a place away from the big city, a place we could pursue our interests without looking in our neighbor’s back yards. We were very fortunate to find our slice of heaven in Metcalfe county Kentucky. When we first moved we had the intention of growing our own food because we can still remember the taste of fresh vegetables from growing up. We wanted to raise our own meat so we knew how they were treated and what they ate. We wanted the freedom to enjoy hobbies like making maple syrup and working with wood. We wanted a place where we could show our grandchildren where their food comes from and hopefully they can appreciate the satisfaction of “planting” things for the future instead of the instant gratification our world seems to tell us is important. Since coming here, we have found a deep appreciation for the freedom, life style and inspiration of being able to grow our own food. Because of that we want to share this with others, family and friends, so we are opening our greenhouse and farm to those that would like to see what it is like to have food grown chemical free, quality plants and produce with flavor the way it was intended to be. We plan on offering grass fed beef very shortly. We look forward to our adventure and hope you would like to join us.
